Greeting Friends & Supporters:

Here of late, Bro. Tolbert has been preaching on justification (to show to be just, right, or reasonable), sanctification (to make holy; consecrate; to purify or free from sin), and glorification (to honor, extol, or worship; to give glory to). These three characteristics are vital in a Christian's life. We must show Jesus, in these perilous times,  if we are going to win  anyone to Christ. It's not just what we say we are, it's how we are living. Like the song says in that old burgundy hymnal on page 169, "Let my life be a light, shining out through the night; May I help struggling ones to the fold. Spreading cheer everywhere to the sad and the lone. Let my life be a light to some soul." And in Matthew 5:16. it says, "Let your light so shine before men , that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father, which is in Heaven."

It's not what we gain in this life that matters, but it is what we are doing for Christ that matters. There's nowhere else I'd rather be than right in the center of God's Will. Bro. Tolbert and I are getting older now, and are slowing up, but we are still willing to go. All of you who have backed us and provided for us to go, it has shown us that you believe in us and what we are trying to do for Christ. I know that 44 ministers thank you, 8 outreaches thank you, and Bro. Tolbert and I thank you. Many of you have been supporting us from the very beginning of Trumpet Ministries' existence, and some of you have started supporting the ministry after learning about it. It is God's work; we are just His vessels. Like his Word says, "One plants, one watereth, but God gives the increase (I Corinthians 3:7-8). " Isn't it wonderful that we can all have a part in God's plan, to win the world for Christ. As Bro. Tolbert made mention on Facebook, some of our supporters have passed away, and some are on set incomes, unable to give like they used to. But, we are able to maintain the support we give each month, as of right now. We are just limited as to what we can send extra (for projects and emergencies). Some of you that heard about this have already responded by sending extra money; thank you so much for your giving. We do have one project we are working on right now: a church that is being built in Mindoro, Philippines. The extra money that was given will take care of this project, with some left over. Thank you! 

Our CD's that we mail out every other month may sometimes be late getting to you. The month of July was late because the company we use to produce the CD's had equipment failure. Because of this, it was mailed out in August. The next CD should be out in October.
